Brodie has too many jobs

Brodie has become our resident building inspector. In addition to taking over yard guard duty for me when I'm gone, he now has to make sure all new access points meet with the stricktest of standards. He's very anal and has to make sure there are no code violations.

I need sunglasses

So today I spent some time outside. It was nice. Lots of water has been coming out of the sky recently. I heard dad saying something about having several days of sunshine. I sure could use some on my old bones. I love the sun. It's just a little too bright still. I'm not used to it being so bright outside. I'll get used to it.
