Too Many Yucky Treats!
I Hate Dark Meat!
The other day when Dad made my turkey soufflé, he used DARK MEAT!! Yech! I've made it very clear I prefer white meat, and he left out the egg, too. So, to get him back, I went on the hunt in the yard for a nice juicy rodent to munch on. It took me three days to catch one, but I finally did. Oh, how my haunches ached! Anyway, I brought it in and told Dad about it but he locked me in the bathrom with it. At least he let me keep it this time. Mmmm. Nothing like warm and fresh Gopher du jour.
After I worked on it for a while it started getting cold and just wasn't the same, so I went back outside to find another warm one. This time it only took a few hours; those gophers just never learn! By the time I came back inside, I had a bit of a stomach ache so I left the whole thing there for Dad to eat. The other one was gone, so Dad must have put the leftovers in a kitty bag for later. Yech! I can't understand how Mom and Dad can stand COLD food, bleah!

Okay, now I'm upset
Dad's still trying to get me to eat strange-tasting food at home. Just give me some freshly-baked turkey and egg soufflé and I'll be fine!

Wow, it works!
Now, if I can just get my picture in here...
There we go. Not bad, considering I only had a few minutes to steel my dad's camera and snap this photo of myself. Hmm, I look a little fat, although I've been trying to slim down for the past several months. It hasn't been easy. Dad's been trying different kinds of foods on me in recent months. I wish Dad would bake that turkey and egg soufflé for me again. He's so unpredictable sometimes.
The other day he took me to that bad place where they put things in my butt and poke and prod my stomach for no apparent reason. It's humiliating and uncomfortable. I try to confuse them by making my fur fall out all over the place and grumbling at them but it doesn't seem to help much. I don't know what happened there this time. Ever since coming back from the bad place, Dad's been extra nice to me, giving me lots of treats extra attention. I don't get it.
Uh oh, I just heard Dad's carrier outside. He must be home. I better get out of here and go greet him so he doesn't suspect anything.
